About Athena

I was born and raised on the island of Milos — a place where beauty, stillness, and authenticity shape everyday life. It was here that I first learned what hospitality truly means: a blend of warmth, discretion, and genuine care.

Athens became my next chapter. There, I studied Tourism Business Management and the Italian language at the Italian School of Athens, gaining knowledge, perspective, and the confidence to imagine something of my own. Yet, even as I embraced the rhythm of the city, I always knew my path would eventually lead me back home.

Returning to Milos felt natural. It was the moment my childhood dream quietly began to unfold — the dream of becoming a “tourist.” As a little girl, I would watch the travelers passing by my father’s shop, carrying their large backpacks, and I felt my imagination drift to places I had never seen.

Sometimes, I would strap a baby carrier from the shop onto my back and imitate them, playing a game that, without knowing it, predicted my future.

This is how Athena Travel was born — not only from professional ambition, but from a deep love for my island and for the people who choose to discover it.

Today, through our services, I continue this personal journey — offering experiences shaped by refined simplicity, attentive service, and the authentic spirit of the Cyclades. Experiences that stay with our guests not only for what they see, but for what they feel.
